I was a child when you passed. My father was a good friend and brother trooper of yours, ironically being the next OSHP fallen Trooper. I remember the day you passed. As a child I already knew the brotherhood of the Troopers and families. Your sacrifice and dedication will forever be in the hearts of all. I baby sat your sons and hope they are well. Rest in peace.

Dear Jerry: I just found out about this website, or else I would have written a long time ago. You and I served together at Circleville, and I was on duty the day you were killed. What a crushing blow to our post, and to the entire State of Ohio. I lived beside your Dad, Harold, and he was so very proud of you. I was home the day your brother Randy drowned, just a few days after graduating from high school. Both boys lost, and Harold never recovered from your deaths. You were an excellent trooper, Jerry, and your sons should be very proud of you. Take care, pal.

Jerry I never had the opportunity to meet you. I have heard some great stories about you and wanted to stop by this site to leave you a short reflection. I work at the Circleville Post where you worked. Although you have been gone quite sometime, you sir, are not forgotten. You should be getting ready to retire.
Keep us safe and may God bless your family.
