Well Greg, It has been forty one years since we went through the Academy together. You were a good friend. I still remember how stunned I was to hear the news that no cop wants to hear about one of his Brothers. Hold the fort, and I'll be there one day to help you and all the others man the walls. You are one of those good men that did something when evil showed it's face. RIP Brother.

Your EOW date is approaching and I have had you on my mind of late. I still remember taking the call and giving it to your agency over MRD. I will never forget feeling like I had a role in it, just like I will never forget the radio traffic while it was occurring. You are still missed my dear friend and I wonder what our conversations would be like after all this time. I am sure we would be laughing at something

Greg was a great guy, he and Greg Thames inspired me to become a law enforcement officer. Their professionalism and courage to serve are un-matched.

I have often thought of Greg over the past 36 years. Will never forget Roll Call when you stood next to me the last time. Your funeral had miles and miles of Officers from all over the Country. Just wanted to say you will never be forgotten. I was sickened to see that your murderer was paroled! RIP my brother. 116th

Greg Mullinax it's been years but I think of you often. You were such a good friend and person. This week we honor our officers and I just want to say again, thank you for you service.

My brother was also killed in the line of duty. He was an Atlanta City Police Officer whose watch ended in 1977. Thank God his murderer was killed at the scene. I am so sorry to hear of the unjust out come of Officer Mullinax's murderer! He got parole after being sentenced to death??? I don't understand that. My condolences go out to the wife, daughter, and other family members of this brave officer. Thank you for his service. I grew up in Austell.

I'm not sure why you are so heavy on my heart today. My Dad was a fellow officer at the time. My only memory of you is when you would come eat nachos and cheese at my parents apartment (I was only 3). But I want you to know that your name stands for courage and strength in our family. You will always be honored and never forgotten.

For both of our families the month of Feb is the roughest month of the entire year. I wish that you physically have seen the deep love and respect my dad had for you being his partner. He kept his promise to make sure no one ever forgot who you are and what you did for him and the City of Austell that night. He kept that promise until his last day here. Just as you were taken from us so sudden and wrongful, he was as well. We miss you guys very much everyday. You inspired my dad as he passed that inspiration on to all of us. Take care of him please, he gets fired up once in a awhile, but being his partner you already know that. I don't think this world has been the same since you left that feb day.....and it became a lot emptier decades later when he also left that feb day....Let him know I miss him, and to thank him for looking after grand girls....

Greg, I will never forgot the horror I felt after hearing what had happened to you. You were our neighbor and friend and things like that weren't suppose to happen to someone so young.

We watched after Heather and Tasha until we moved. They continue to be in our hearts just as you are.

My son, Logan, passed away, suddenly, 11 months ago. He was just 24 like you Greg. I hope you will look after him for us.

Until we all meet again.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 31rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered. I pray for solace for all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace today. Tasha and Heather, ,thanks for sharing a wife and daughter's devotion to their beloved husband and father.

I was also sad to know that Gregory's partner Greg Thames had also passed, but I am confident the loyal friends and partners are now together again.

Rest In Peace.

Even though it's been 31 years, we still miss you and think of you. You left a wonderful footprint on this earth for someone so young and we are blessed to have shared that time with you.

What a waste of life that was - What a wonderful father you were . . . you are missed and taken way, way too early. You would be so proud of your grandboys - Heather is a wonderful mother and would make you so proud!

EOW 2-8-81 31 years ago today. Can NOT believe it has been that long. Seems like yesterday I was standing in the ER at Cobb General, and they told me you were gone. Still loved, still missed, still remembered. Tasha
