100 years seems like forever but in reality it is not. Your sacrifice has impacted our family, which is still felt to this day. Your picture proudly hangs on our wall and you are never forgotten.

Today your Great-Grandchildren celebrated you at mass at your home parish, visited your hero sign, and sent food in your memory to your old district station.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Patrolman Motroni, today marks the 82nd anniversary of your murder. Though the memorial page does not say what the final outcome was for the ‘man’ who murdered you, I believe he faced justice, either here on Earth or in the afterlife.

Your family never truly lost you. I know you were with them always.
