Based on the 1920 U.S.Census report, Det. Lt. David Morris was 56 years old at the time of his death, not 65 as indicated on the main page. He emigrated from Canada, and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1887. His wife, Sarah McLachan Morris, was 58 at the time of his death. They had two unmarried daughters living in the home at 442 Dragoon in 1920: Gertrude, 31, a teacher, and Irene, 29, a Stenographer. Mrs. Morris sister, Anna McLachan, also resided with the family.
They are not forgotten.
