Your heroism and service is honored today, the 93rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
To his many descendants in the Bay Area: We would love to have you at our Northern California chapter of COPS meeting.

Dear Grandpa,
I visited the memorial at the SF Police department a couple of months ago to see your name on the wall. You have many SF descendents who remember you proudly and think of you often. We are having a Moriarty Family reunion in a couple of weeks where I will be sure to make a toast to you and your courage. All of your grandchildren were/are also very brave people. I'm sorry that I never got to meet you. Thanks for the inspiration and pride you have given to all of us.
Yours Truly,
Deborah Kockos,
Daugher of Patricia Moriarty;
Daughter of Joseph A Moriarty;
Son of John J Moriarty
PS...I will make sure the information here is updated.
