As we are listening to music, this song came on and it made me think you Grandpa and thought this song is very fitting for the family. I know they all live life to please you and Mima and are doing well for themselves. We have all mentioned in posts before but I just wanted to repeat… You and Mima did a wonderful job to instill wonderful values in your children and I thank you for the gifts of my mom, and aunts and uncle!! Love you mucho many Grandpa!! To the rest of the family I hope you enjoy and don't cry too much!! Music just speaks to my soul and I had to share!! I love you ALL!!!
Finally Home-MercyMe
I'm gonna wrap my arms around my daddy's neck and tell him that I've missed him
And tell him all about the man/woman that i became and hope that it pleased him
there's so much i want to say
there's so much i want you to know.
When i finally make it home
when i finally make it home.
Then I'll gaze upon the throne of the King, frozen in my steps
and all the questions that i swore i would ask
words just won't come yet
so amazed at what I've seen so much more than this
old mind can hold.
And the sweetest sound my ears have yet to hear voices on the angels.

Hi Daddy, today is Ayden Ed's 6th birthday. He said that today was his best day ever. But he was sad because one of his wishes didn't come true. He wished for Frasier to come home. We miss our kitty cat. I'd like to think that you and Kitchen Cat were there at Rainbow Bridge to welcome Frasier into Heaven. We love you and miss you.

hi Daddy, it's been a while. This year i was able to go home. I know I need to go more often. I took Ayden Ed with me. We went to the service in Santa Fe with Mima. Ayden still says he wants to be a police officer like you. In my heart I say NO NO NO... but I will never stand in his way if his calling is to serve.
I dont understand it, but I know its there.
Richard, I wish you peace. I wish you knew how much you have given us. I can never thank you enough for being there with our dad.

I love this picture of you. You look so proud, so happy. I so want to say how much I miss you and how much we really need you here. But that's not fair. I know it isn't. But we still do miss you, and we all still do really wish you were here with us. It's not fair at all... not to you, not to us... not fair at all. And we still all really wish you were here at home

It wasn't 43 years ago, it was only just yesterday. "They" were wrong, time doesn't heal wounds, some wounds will never heal. I miss you Daddy. We all do. Thank you for staying as long as you could.

I take the liberty of speaking for my entire family...my Mother, my Brother, my Sisters when I say that you lived your life with pride, with dignity, with strength and with never endling love.
You are my father, my guiding light and my hero. I will always see you as those things. I will honor your life by trying to live by your example.

Edward L. Moreno is my father. I was a small child when this happened. I was 9 years old my little sister was only 3. This tragedy was horrible, yes I agree. But you didn't waste away Daddy. You fought hard to stay with us. You gave us so many life lessons that I know all of us, from Berta to Cammy have clung on to to get us to thru so many difficult things.
The tragedy isn't that you lived. That is the triumph. The tragedy is that someone chose this life for us. It wasn't you, It wasn't Mom, It wasn't any of us kids. But we've all made the best of it. We all know that you fought hard to stay with us as long as you could. No one can ever take that away from us.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 38th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Thanks to your family for sharing their devotion to you through their reflections.

Daddy, please help me, I've committed to doing 26 acts of kindness in memory for the 26 that lost their lives at Sandy Hook. I have some ideas. Please, help me, give me some inspiration. I don't think I can do this by myself.

Hi Daddy....tis the season for your song. I've had some trying days at work lately and when I asked you to take care of me...your song came out on the radio. I'd love to think that it was you sending me a essage that all would get better.
Here's your song Daddy...
O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining.
Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was born;
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!
I love you and miss you everyday. Give my Jellybean a big hug and kiss from us!
I love you,

Hi Daddy,
I visited the Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington DC this week. What a beautiful place. I found your name and made pencil etching for my grandkids. I felt really at peace there. My friend Nancy and I walked everywhere. Imagine ....me.....walking. I enjoyed my visit there. We walked to the White House and to the Washington Memorial. I love you Daddy and miss you everyday.
Love always!
