On today, the 90th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Williamson County. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Sam was my Grandmothers brother or Uncle, I can't remember, and we were always told they had taken him before a judge and he pulled a gun on them in the court room. I just remember my grandmother saying the man who shot them was not someone you would expect to do something like that. She said that 1934 was the saddest year of her life because she lost a baby and Sam

The death of two law enforcment officers must have been a devastating blow to your community. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 88th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.
