Great Uncle George Mitchell. I did not know you as I was born several years after you died. Ancestry and found papers led me to you a short time ago. I also became a police officer in the suburbs of philly 30yrs ago. I am also a veteran. Thanks for your service and know you are not forgotten.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 63rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.
