Your heroism and service is honored today, the 200th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never dimishes respect, not even 200 years.
Rest In Peace

Officer Miller, today marks the 198th anniversary of your tragic death. The loss suffered by your family cannot be measured. The United States was still a new nation when you died and you were a part of what made the nation strong. You are a hero.
Another thing that is especially tragic is that, you were only the first of 6 Customs Officers to day on this date over the years, far too many for an eternity, but a complete tragedy for just one date.
God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
