Reflections for Sheriff Clarendon D. Miller
Sheriff Miller,
Even though it’s been 90 years since since your End of Watch you are still honored and remembered-especially by your Family. I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Brule County. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 82nd anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Grandad,
I didn't know you because I was not born yet. But because of you, I am here. I am very proud of you and your police work. I hope to meet you some day when God opens the graves of our fallen heros. Your End of Watch was way too early!
God Bless You
