Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
God Bless

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 46th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace

It's truly sad how many Officers die due to the reckless acts of children. At 16 this kid probably should have known better, but the inexperience and naivete of age often get in the way of common sense. It's tragic that it ruined his life, but more tragic that his acts took yours. No doubt, though you have been gone now 44 years today, your memory lives on within those who knew you best.
God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
