Andy was my uncle, but I never got to meet him. Our son is named for him, and he influenced me in spending thirty years in the Military Police Corps. He was loved and admired by hs family and many others. His death was more than just a motorcyle accident, as most in my family would tell you, but that's another story and does not diminish what he was, and what he did. Thanks to those of you who took the time to leave a reflection. A life of service deserves both recognition and respect.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 84th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
