Reflections for Sergeant Ronald Eugene Kelley

Sgt. Kelley, I'll never forget that fateful day In November. I only had 9 months on the job as a young Deputy. We never really got to know each other. I only wish that I could get there faster. I thought it was a joke when the citizen got on your radio and said "Officer Down!!!" I couldn't and didn't want to believe it. That day changed my life forever.I pray for you and your family often...I'll never forget you.

Ron,
In November, it will be 10 yrs. since you fell in the line of duty. I remember back to when we worked together at ElMirage P.D., I remember your laugh and how mad you got when wayne and I re-arranged your office. Wayne lost his life in the line of duty a few years ago. I remember so much about those days, and about how much you loved and cared about your family. I also remember carrying your casket the day we laid you to rest. Rest in peace Ron.
