Thomas J McVay was engaged to my Grandmother on my father's side when he was killed in the line of duty. My Grandmother kept the ring he gave her to the day she died almost 60-years later. Our family honors his memory and will never forget the impact he had on my Grandmother. he remains in our hearts and prayers to this day. May he rest in peace. Thank you Ms. Loya for your kind words.
