I worked with Joe when I was a rookie cop in the 90 Pct. He had some time on but he always took time to give advice to the new "kids". He was one of the guys who helped make me a "cop". In the short time I knew him, we shared a lot of laughs. He is truly missed and will never be forgotten.

Joe was a great COP always trying to do his best.I talked to Joe just before he went on that Job. He left going to help other cops but that was Joe.

To the family of Joe McCormack, I will remenber that fateful day that Joe died for the rest of my life. It seems like such a short time ago that Joe and I were talking in the sitting room (Kitchen) at ESS#2 just hours before his life was taken. I will always remember what a gentleman and good natured person Joe was. To his family I say God Bless you and may Joseph McCormack continue to Rest In Peace.
