He was my Grandmother Winifred's Brother. I remember my father telling me about him at a young age. I am very proud to know he worked the very streets I grew up on.

RIP William you are never forgotten.

This is my Great Grand Father, I never got a chance to meet him as he died 30 years before I was born. I felt compelled to say something on his behalf so it is known that he is still thought of. He died much too young and I wish I could have met him. I am proud of him never the less. Rest in peace Grandpa.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 90th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
