My daddy, Jack Randolph McClary, was your son. Although we talked about you all the time, and especially about the devastation your family suffered when you were killed, I wish that I had been able to meet you. My father was a wonderful man and I'm sure you would have been a wonderful grandfather as well. We are proud of the service you and your brother provided the citizens of Alexandria, VA. I'm sure it was a much better place because of you both.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 83rd anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Since my grandfather was killed when my father, his son, was only 8 years I never met him. It is touching to see that he is still remembered by others besides the McClary family. May God bless and protect our law enforcement men and women as they continue to serve and protect.
