I didn't ever know you. And after all these years and most of my family also gone. I look back hoping I have the right memory. All I recalled from the years I grown up is my real Grandfather was a Pittsburgh Cop, and his name was Mayer. If I'm wrong Officer, I'm not the only one whom remembers you. Your grandson Jack

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 104th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
