Mike and I went through the academy together. He was a great person and touched many lives in a positive fashion. I will miss Mike; he was an important part of a great time of my life.

Remembering you on your anniversary. Didn’t know so many were lost on 6/23 until one of our own was lost. You will never be forgotten.

I recall attending this man's funeral in Orlando as a member of our honor guard. Rest in peace, sir. GOD bless you and your family.

Mike,
You're in my head every day! I know you're talking to me. I hope I'm answering you in the right ways. You are my guardian angel, I know it!
You'll always be in my heart!
Officer Trina Richardson

Mike Burson was a friend of mine and I enjoyed serving with him with the Orlando Police Department. I remember the call going out on the radio about an officer being down. I was saddened to hear about his passing. He always had a smile on his face.
