Hey pops!! All of us are doing the Walk to Remember tomorrow! I'm really excited I think it's a great way to honor you and your memory. I have spent a lot of my time since you've been gone hashing over the details of your death, and why it happened. I realize now that, I have to let all of that anger go and focus on the person you were: a shining star, a man among men, and most of all my hero! I LOVE YOU... I'm sure you'll be walking w/ us tomorrow:)

So much time has passed, but yet it seems like yesturday. I wish you could be here to see how beautiful, kind, intelligent and wonderful our kids are you would burst with joy. I know you watch over all of us and I know in my heart that you do see us all and are so very proud, we love you and miss you still so terribly. Till we see each other again my love.

You are missed so much by so many people. Even though I never got a chance to get to know you because i was so young when you died, I feel like I do because my dad talks about you so much. He misses his brother more than anything in the world and would do anything to get you back.

I went to grade school with Johnny and moved in third grade. I was shocked to learn of his death in this most honorable of professions. I pray that the family has been able to move forward while keeping his memory alive. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten. God bless.

Let no man or woman who wears the badge of honor be left without proper thanks and recognition. A belated THANK YOU is too little. I pray for your family that God will lift them up.
