I just wanted to say that Randy died when I was 6 months old. I am his youngest daughter and I wish I could have known my sisters and the rest of the family. I've been looking for pictures of him for a very long time and i am so happy to finally see how much I look like him. Everyone told me how good of a man he was and I just wanted to say to all of you who knew him. I give you my deepest sympathies. I wish I could have met him atleast once.

I just wanted to say that this accident that killed my dad affected me deeply, and still does till this day, but I know that he is looking down on me and is proud of the person I am today. And as I move on in life I am also trying to become an lapd officer as well.
Dad I miss you and I will always love you forever and forever for the rest of my life, jen

Brother Marshall,
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Respectfully,

I was Randy's girlfriend at the time of his death and I can tell you that
his death affected alot of good friends
and co-workers, and specially me.
I will never forget him he was a diamond in the ruff.
May he rest in peace and love.

I dont know if Randy's family will ever see this, I just found this site by accident (12/04). Anyway, when I was a LAPD police explorer in the 1970's I took a picture of Randy sitting on his motor at the academy in Elysian Park. I remember it as if it were yesterday.
He sat on his bike looking into the camera with 30 bikes parked behind him all in a row leading up to the PT field. He loved that picture and I had it it blown up to 8x10 for him.
I hope you all still have that photo, because it showed the essence of who Randy was. He was also one of the nicest men I ever met. He inspired me to go on to be a cop.
You Have Not Been Forgotten My Friend,
