Your heroism and service is honored today, the 84th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Rest In Peace.

Obviously no spring chicken, but apparently a tough old bird, Officer Marchbanks you truly are an inspiration. Starting your work with the Miami Police at age 58 and still working at 66, an age most of us hope to enjoy leisurely and far away from the job.
You deserve much respect. May God Bless and I hope you are resting in peace.
