Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family, friends and all the members of the Shreveport Police Department. We were made safer by his service and we all suffer their tragic loss. The family of Corporal Lupton deserves our appreciation and gratitude for their sacrifice. No greater love has a man than the will to give his life for another. In the days to follow, may you be strengthened by the fact that Corporal Lupton is a man distinguished by exceptional courage and will always be admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. You, your family and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

David,
I just found this site, I cant believe it's been so long since that tragic horrible night. I remember the talks we had after you transfered to the Bullhead City, Az. Police Department, and how you used to talk about the Civil War re-enactments, and how you missed Shreveport. La. and how much you loved your family.
Rest in peace my friend, I think about you often, You and your family are in my prayers.
