Reflections for Police Officer Walter Luedtke

I am Walter Luedtke's granddaughter. Such a sad day for our family. My Mom and Grandmother didn't talk about this often but it really had an effect on their lives. One thing the above didn't mention is that the family heard the shot but did't know at the time of the tragedy that had occurred. I have many newspaper pictures and articles about this sad event and the following trial. The Milwaukee Journal did a fantastic job of covering this and I'm proud to be able to remember him even though I never met him.
