Reflections for Sheriff Orville L. Litchfield
Great Uncle Orville: Of course you never knew me - you only knew my dad for a few years. I just want you to Rest In Peace, knowing that your story lives on in the family, now in the fourth generation beyond yours.
God bless the Thin Blue Line.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 85th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
