Reflections for Deputy Sheriff George Robert Lillard, Jr.
Your heroism and service is honored today, the fifty-first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Since learning of this memorial site, I have begun dedicating each work day to a fallen officer. Today, I'm dedicating my shift to the memory of your officer. I know you still miss him, but rest assured, he's safe where he rests now, and he will never be forgotten. Bless all his loved ones, family, and co-workers.
