Reflections for Town Marshal Phillip Lee
This was my grandfather on my mother’s side of the family. The story goes he had just sat down to the table for Sunday dinner with his wife and six children when there came a knock at the door. He was told there was a disturbance in town and he was needed. When he arrived in town and walked into the establishment where the trouble was he was gunned down.
I’ve been told my grandfather had steel blue eyes that seemed to look straight through a person and had no fear of anything.

Wow.This was my great grandfather and though I did not know him,it's amazing to see any comments made about something that happened so long ago.I knew my great grandmother who never remarried and my grandmother, his daughter is now 90 and still going strong.
