Wil, I never knew you and it's such a shame. I grew up with your daughter, Tracy, and remember the news of your death speading throughout our school. I remember not knowing what to say... Now that I work alongside other peace officers I feel a kinship with you and other fallen officers. As has been said before, it could be anyone at anytime and remembering those that have been taken from us is a constant reminder of that grim reality... Know that you are remembered and honored even by those who never knew you and we will see you again...

Will Agy was on of the finest officers to ever serve. I was a young man in the 80's and 90's in Dayton and Liberty. He was stern with us; however, he was also a friend and a role model.

I still remember that dreadful day when he was gunned down in that video store. His life was taken by a coward, may God's wrath find him.

My condolences to your family, friends and colleagues. I hope that the perpetrators of this senseless act are finally brought to justice, and that it brings you and your family closure and peace.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of Wil. I stop by to visit him when I can. I often reflect on the experiences & fellowship that he & I shared. I will remember them forever & cherish them always. He was a good man. I would have followed him through hell & high water. I look forward to the day his murderers are brought to justice. Peace be with him & his family.

I am the daughter of a fellow Law Enforcement Officer. My Dad started "walking the beat" and worked his way up to "Director of Galveston County" My Dad passed away 17 years ago, but is still remembered and highly respected by the TEXAS CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT and all those who knew him.
I have a great admiration for all Police Officers because I have witnessed what they go through. I have great respect and empathy with the families of all Police Officers. MAY GOD BLESS AND WATCH OVER OUR MEN AND WOMEN OF THE PROTECTOR OF OUR LAWS.

My heart goes out to the family of this deputy. It brings tears to my eyes to hear of such tragedy. To the cowards that did this you are going to most definitely get your day. I just dont understand why people do such senseless acts and it seems like it happens everyday. I just dont make any sense at all. I did not know Mr. Agy but it doesn't matter no one deserves this.

I was born and raised in Liberty. I have a son and cousin whom or Officers of the Law. I remember reading about this story in dine-out. I did not know this great man personally, but He served us all. I pray that the Lord will continue to Bless his Family at each anniversary of his death. The person responsible probably think that they got away with this awful act. Just remember there is a God and we never get away with doing wrong. One day and it may not be very long they will pay for their action. Again may God contine to Bless the Wilburn Agy family, for The Lord is OUR shepherd.

Although I didn't personally know Wil, my son-in-law did. I pray daily for our police officers, firefighters, and military forces as well as their families so in that category we are all kin. It would be wonderful to catch the guilty parties and get justice but we would still be missing a friend and hero.

I worked with Will briefly at LCSO. He was one of the truly nice guys. He was a good officer and always had a friendly greeting for everyone.

Wil,

I still remember the day I got the call that you had left this earth. I can only believe that you have moved on to bigger and better things. I still talk about you and tell those that have not been around that long what you were really made of. As you can see now law enforcement has changed and we all miss the good ole days, however not as much as we miss you, your humor, your business side, and most of all your great guidance to being a great cop. Keep an eye on us and as I often remember you will be the first and best backup we could have........

On Monday April 3, 1995, Will Agy, Frank Longoria and myself had lunch at Burger King in Dayton, Texas. We laughted and joked about our jobs and other things. I asked Will to cover that same job for me that night, but he couldn't, he did agree to cover it for on Wednesday April 5, 1995. At approx. 11:00pm there was a shadow in my window, I got my gun and pulled open the shade and found that nobody was there. I later recieved a phone call from Frank with the terrible news. I am convinced that Will visited me that night before he left us to be with the Lord. I know that we have an Angel in Heaven watching over us. To this date tears fill my eyes, and I pray for Will and his family.

Wil Agy !!!! What a wonderfull man, and truly a respected officer. I worked in law enforcement for 23yrs, I saw a lot of officers come and go durring that time. It is a true sign of respect for an officer when at his death, at his funeral some of the people that he arrested come to pay their respects. I remember Wil as dedicated, fair, and honest. He respected others and he earned respect from them. To this day, I have not heard anyone say anything against Wil Agy. He served, touched & taught with every breth he took. I feel honored to be able to call him a co-worker AND a friend.

Will as I knew him was a dear friend and great cop. When I learned he had been killed by two lowlife scum I broke down and cried. Will was what I call a great man, You did not have to worry about who got your back when will was around, he had it. Will, I miss you.

Hi Wil--
I think about you often; working with you was great, being your friend and your family's friend was even greater. I won't forget, Wil, what a good person you were, how your self respect carried over into your work and dedication, and how so many people came out to show you their respect. That night was one of the worst ever, as were the days that followed. I salute you and I remember you.

It's been twelve years now, Will. Still we have no closure; the cowards who took you from us still walk free. One day they will answer for their crime, whether it be by Man's law or God's, they will be found out. Until the day we meet on the other side, I'll miss you and think of you every day.

Bless you for your work it is a long unending and mostly ungreatfull job. bless the family you left behind, may they know the love you had for people to do the job you chose. I know God has placed you above all others as anyone who knows the sacrifice of a civil servant gains the place of an Angel in Gods eyes. Bless you in your unending patrol as an Angel to watch over your Brother's and sister's in law enforcement.

Wil You were one of the people I looked up to when I was starting out in Police work. I remember speaking with you on your last day with us and you telling me that you were confident that I would get moved to patrol. You are missed and I know you are in good hands. See you on the other side.

Wil was a great guy. We still talk about him and his exploits. When I describe him to others, this is what I say: As a police officer, there are scenes when situations get out of hand and start to spiral out of control. When they do, you get on the radio and call for backup. Every officer that hears the call will be on their way to assist you. But if Wil Agy got to your scene first, you didn't need any more backup.

Wil took care of business. I was always glad to have him standing with me. And I'm a better officer for having him touched my life.

Thinking of you on the anniversary of your sacrifice. I hope that one day the killers will be brought to justice. However, I know they will face a higher justice one day. Thank you for your service.
