To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 86th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

mom of fallen Pittsburg (CA) officer Larry Lasater

I recently learned that P/O Klemmer was killed in the Lawncrest area. I have lived there for over 50 years and never knew that a police officer lost their life protecting the Lawncrest area. I have been recently been able to find P/O Klemmer's family to thank them for the ultimate sacrifices they have make all these years living without their loved one. I never knew Officer Klemmer but I can attest to the fact that he does have a wonderful family and they are a credit to his fine name. Thank You Klemmer Family!
