I have seen your picture many times displayed at my Great-Grandmothers home when I was a kid. She talked of you always. I believe that you were the favorite among your brothers and your sister adored you. I never had the pleasure of meeting you. I was born nine years after your untimely death. My mother, your niece, talks about you all the time. She loved you very much. So much so, that when I was born she gave me your name. I am so proud and honored to have your name, and believe that hearing your name said around the family, gives comfort to us all that a small part of you is still with us. We will love you always...

Officer King may you rest in peace. Today on the anniversary of your death some 45 years ago we still mourn for you. Our thoughts and prayers will always be with you and your family. We are currently trying to secure a place to put a well deserved memorial for you. Your service will always be remembered and your sacrifice will never be forgotten. May God Bless You. My beloved Uncle: 45 years ago today, you were taken from us. We love and miss you as much today as we did then. I am so appreciative of the officers at Sansom Park Police Department, for what they have done to see that you are recognized and honored. Until we meet again, sweet Uncle, may you continue resting in the arms of the Lord. I Love You, Shari

Rest in Peace. Thanks for having the guts to take on a coward such as this one.

Officer King, we finally did it. Your memorial is now complete with our patch and your picture. I would like to thank your family for helping making this possible as well as the other officers of the department. You made the ultimate sacrifice and will always be honored. A memorial is in the works for the police department as well. Rest in peace.

Officer King, I know little about you, I work in the department you served in. 42 years later we still honor you and wish we knew more about you.
I just wanted to say you served well and rest in peace.
