To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 54th anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Kilby,

I think we made it right. I truly feel I met you through your family during your memorial dedication. Though there was no way I could be there when you needed me most, rest assured, all any member of your family has to do is ask, and I'll do whatever I can to help them.

Rest in peace brother.

Officer Kilby,

It is good to know that even 50 years later, your sacrifice is not forgotten.

The fact that your relatives still tell your story shows a great deal of love and respect for the job you performed that day.

Rest in peace, #3.

Grandpa,
I am honored to be leaving a reflection for you on this truly remarkable website. I am proud to be related to such a brave and dedicated man. I am saddened that I have to write to you in this manner and that you are not able to be here with us today.
I am the daughter of your namesake Ronald. He is married to my mother Judy. I have two brothers Ronald and David. We spend quite a bit of time together. Although we are loud and crazy at times we love each other very much.
I recently got married; October 14, 2006. To a wonderful man named Seth, and he fits right into the family. I am currently working as a pediatric Occupational Therapist. I love it and hopefully working with kids will not scare me away from having my own some day.
I have had the opportunity to hear my father and your other children (my aunts & uncle) share memories of you. Some very funny and also some that are quite sad. I know that your memory will live on.
Only having had one grandparent I feel that I missed out on knowing some really great people. I know that you and my other grandparents were with me through all my accomplishments and tears. I hope that I make you all proud! I thank you all for giving me such wonderful parents!

Love,
Melissa
