Reflections for Police Officer Winfred Sylvester Hunter

I used to live on 28th & Lehigh Avenue; which is a couple of blocks from where he was killed. I actually heard the gunshots and heard the police and ambulance sirens that night. Cops were everywhere.
I knew his daughter and was so hurt when I saw her picture in the picture during his funeral.
I'm glas they caught the gunmen, so her and her family could have closure.
I didn't know him personally, but by the way he raised his daughter, I'm sure he was a great man.
R.I.P. and may God keep you in his everlasting arms.

No fallen officer should be without a reflection.
Although I didn't know you, I'm sure that you were a good policeman, based on the fact that even off duty you still cared enough to do your best to preserve the peace.
Your untimely death is a tragic loss to all of us who served and still serve.
Rest easy up there with our Lord, you are a brave man and you will always be remembered.
Retired police officer.
