Your heroism and service is honored today, the 66th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

No officer that lost his life in the line of duty should be without a reflection. I grew up in Detroit area, not too far from the police department. I am honored to be the first to leave a reflection on your memorial page. 59 years ago today you lost your life. Rest peacefully in the palm of His hand.
