Your heroism and service is honored today, the 88th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

It's an honor to know you are my great-great uncle. My grandfather William F. Kelly (Burlington, Iowa) was your nephew and you are my late mother's great uncle. What a coincidence that my family happened to settle in your town in 1963, due to a military move. My sister and I will be there tomorrow to represent your Kelly/Kelley descendants. Sending Hugs to Heaven!
