Great Grandfather Lawrence Keating, I have only heard stories about you since I could understand words. The Keating family has always missed you and are so very proud of you. Your name has given the family strength and pride for generations, and I now pass your story on to your great great grandchildren. Your legacy lives on. You are our hero, never forgotten, and always loved. God bless you.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 115th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
