Wayne Jones was my uncle, my mother's brother. I was young when he passed , but I do remember him coming to my home and placing his patrolman's hat on my head. I thought that was great!
He was so much fun and a very king person.
He died on my mother's birthday , and she never failed to mention his death on her birthday.
He was another hero who gave it all for the safety of the publice.
His niece, Joyce Kuckewich Bonar

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 61rst anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
