I had a 4th grade Teacher named Mrs. Johnson at Meade Heights Elementary in 1967 who tragically lost her Husband. I believe it was Deputy Sheriff Clarence W. Johnson, Sr.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 45th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Deputy Johnson, Your untimely passing occured more than four decades ago, yet you should know that you are still remembered by members of your agency. Your wife and daughters should take solace in the fact that you are part of a profession that holds their fallen in the highest regard. I salute you for the job you did and the ultimate sacrafice you have made for your community.
