Sorry to learn this, even after all these years.
It appeared that he worked in Rome area, where I was later a p.o.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 49th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

You were in life and, as well,in death the love of my life. I've had a good life but your place could never be taken.I gained a family (a wonderful second husband and 4 children)6 years after your death. They had also lost his wife and their mother by premature death. Bill and I had a 34 yr.marriage before his death.I thank God for allowing me to love and receive love from you both.

Glenn:

Your sacrifice has not been forgotten. Your memory has been preserved through this site, the GPSTC Memorial, and the National Law Enforcement Memorial so that all may know the man and Agent you were. In collecting information to provide I found that you are still very close to the hearts of your family members. God Bless.
