Over the past 20 years I have walked and patrolled the same beat on the Soithside and worked the same district where you lost your life 67 years ago. Often times I think of you as I ride down that street. My Brother you maybe gone but not forgotten. God Speed my friend we shall patrol the streets together in the future. See you when I get there.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 61rst anniversary year of your death.

Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Phyllis Lasater Loya
mom of fallen Pittsburg (CA) officer Larry Lasater

It has been 57 years since you gave the "ultimate sacrifice" but you are not forgotten by your family, friends and we will not forget.
Lord, be with this family and give them comfort and strength.
Even though it has been 57 years, I know that it seems just like yesterday to them.
To Officer Jackson's family, friends we do remember.
