Family, Friends & Fellow Officers Remember...

John, As I returned from the annual FLETC ride to remember fallen officers throughout the nation, I kept you in my thoughts and prayers. We had our annual memorial at the park where your "ROCK" is placed. I'm sure you have seen it and would agree it is a fitting site for all to visit. I met one of your good friends and we talked about you and your love of life. I still miss you, John and will always think of you as my little brother.

Well its sure hot here, summer has arrived .. The family is doing okay.. Terry Ann is still struggling with Allen's death, but she is trying to accept it, it just breaks my heart she's hurting so bad.. Tabitha is doing better, but she misses Dave so much, but with Peg's help she's healing also.. Robbie is getting married in October so wedding plans in full swing. Rachael is busy with work and planning the bridal shower for Courtney and Rob.. The family is doing well, everyone just busy with life, which is good.. As always keep an eye on them, and know I miss you so much and wish you were here.. Watch over the men in blue, its really rough out there.. Love and Miss you!!

John,
Today is your birthday! Happy Birthday! Wow I can't believe you would be 44 today, it feels like just yesterday you were 16 and dating Marie, oh where has the time gone. Its been a difficult year so far. David died in January and Allen died in April, I know they are with you and you are taking care of them now, along with Mom, Dad, Donald. Tabitha and the boys are still struggling, and Allen is going to be buried tomorrow, it has been very difficult on Aunt Terry Ann, and Allen was only 34, how sad.. Rest of the family is doing okay, still worried about Peg, she is burning both ends of the stick at the same time, so please keep an eye on her, she sure needs it.. Rachael is doing good she loves the ER, and loves being a nurse :) Robbie got engaged in March, to a great girl named Courtney she makes him so happy. You would be so proud of them John, Robbie is the man every parent hopes for, he is going to be a great husband and father one day! Rachael is looking to get engaged next year, so another wedding will be in the works. I sure wish you were here to see how they are and the family, we sure miss you.. The holidays came and went, thought of you often as I placed your angel on tree.. Sure wish you were here with us, but I know you are always watching over us.. The kids are doing great Rob moved out and has started his life, we are so proud of him he has won his battle.. Rachael is now an ER nurse she is so excited, she too moved out so we have that empty nest, sorta strange and quite, but we are happy htey are both doing so well and they are happy.. Terri Ann is still struggling with Allen, sure wish there was some magic words that could help him, so is so worried about him, so please keep an eye on him, she needs you.. Peggy is really busy and having the boys a lot, Tab is struggling with Dave, so sad to see ALS take him its going to be a rough year for us all.. Todays the day they tell the boys, how do you explain to 3 little boys daddy is going to die?? I know you will be there when he arrives take care of him for us.. I sure wish you were here I miss you so very much.. Continue to watch over Tara, and Fred as they continue to protect us.. Watch over everyone, as you always do.. Fall is here, but not here in AZ yet.. Soon the cooler weather will be here, along with the holidays your favorite time of the year.. Things are good, but as you know Tabitha, is really struggling with Dave's illness. Its been really hard on her, and the boys.. Peg is trying to deal with it the best she can, but she needs some help, she is so tired and running herself down, so watch over her for me John, she needs us all right now.. John, buddy, I really miss you, and the talks we used to have to keep each other sane. This job gets tougher and tougher and I am sure by now you have met Sam up there. He was taken from us too soon also. Let him know we miss him too. We all know you are keeping us as safe as possible. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Another year has come and gone, and I still miss you like it all happened yesterday.. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you and wish I could hear your voice and see your face. I often think about what if's if you were still here would you be married and have children, or still single and living life to the fullest, but on 8/19/1994 that all changed along with everyone else's we lost you.. It's July yesterday was the 4th we had a small BBQ, and watched some fireworks.. Its hot here was 114 yesterday, they say its going to be a hot summer.. Spoke to Tara on Facebook, she's getting burnt out keep an eye on her, and Fred too.. But I know you are watching out for all the officers in blue.. Family is fine, Peg's still wearing herself thin, she needs a break soon.. Tab's Dave is getting worse and it's really starting to get to her, ALS is really taking a toll on all of them.. So keep an eye out for them, they need their special Angel watching over them.. All is well her the kids are doing good, thanks for keeping an eye out for Rachael, and the bus! Happy Birthday John!! Another year has come and gone, boy time is sure flying by.. I know you are so missed... Things are well here, and most of the familt is fine.. Watch over Peg, she's doing so much for Tab, and she is just running herself crazy.. Terri Ann is having some difficult times right now also. Rachael graduates in two weeks where has the time gone, I still can't believe she will be a nurse we are so proud of her.. Robbie is doing great to he is applying for a managers position, so cross your fingers for him.. I am finally doing well, and feeling good.. Keep an eye out for all your family in blue, and a special watch over Fred, and Tara.. We love an miss you so very much.. I finally got my sticker for my car, and my special plate to honor you.. It's March and the weather here is wonderful, you would of loved visiting Arizona, the desert is so beautiful.. The family is well, some better then others but I know you are watching over them all... Keep an eye on Peg she is so stressed out and just running herself down.. Dave, Tabitha's husband is getting worse so its getting harder on her and the boys. Being the boys are so young its hard for them to understand what's happening to their daddy, so watch over them. We miss you so much, Karen misses you too, she was at the Police Memorial in DC this month and took pictures and she etched your name off of the wall, she was so proud to be there and see your name, but sad that your name was even there. I hope to get there one day soon and see the wall myself, but I want to go to Virginia first where they honor you every year. I'am so proud to call you my brother, and miss you so much.. Keep an eye on Tara and Fred as they go out each day to serve and protect.. You are our angel in blue...

It Febuary and the weather is cold all over the US, New York has been getting a lot of snow this year.. Glad we don't have to shovel.. Everyone is doing okay, watch over Peg she is wearing herself thin, and worried she's going to get sick. She's been helping Tabitha a lot beacuse of Dave's ALS, he's getting worse, its so sad to see him change so fast.. We are well Rachael graduates in May can you believe its been four years and she's going to be our nurse in the family, we are so proud of her. Rob is doing great he is working his way up to a manager, he loves his job.. Watch over everyone as you always do and give my love to everyone there.. Keep a watch on your friends in blue they really need it, its a crazy world out there now John, things have changed so much since you left us.. We love and miss you every day..
