Constable Fredrick Humphrey was killed a year before I was born. But I was told about him by his brother Durwood Humphrey who also served as a Mississippi Constable and who died of a heart attack while on duty. My deepest gratitude for their service to the people of their counties and this state.

My dear sweet Uncle taken before his time. He was the kindest man. He would be proud of his son and grandson today. I so wish he would have lived to enjoy his large extended family. He was my Daddy's baby brother. I remember that day like it was yesterday. His son Allen and I are the same age and were only 6 yrs. old when he died.
You are sadly miss my dear Uncle....
