Our family circle will not be broken. Our grandson Jackson gave his heart to the Lord at Bible School on Friday night. Praise the Lord!!!!! He asked his Uncle Chris who has become the Associate Pastor of their church if he would baptize him.

Well, I guess you have seen Cleo. Our loss was Heaven's gain. You would be so proud of Chris. He helped preach his grandpaw's funeral. Your brother Ronnie came to the funeral and we were glad to see him. Haven't seen him in many years.

We just had our 40th wedding anniversay on Sept 5. Seems like forever yet it seems like yesterday. I thank God for the Godly husband that God picked just for me. I am so glad you were bold and confident in your faith. I am also glad that you taught our children to have character and honor. I am glad you were sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 16th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service to my hone state and the birthplace of my son. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I pray for solace for all those who love and remember you, especially your devoted wife Janice, for I know both the pain and pride are forever.

Sixteen years ago tomorrow is the day we lost you to death. Alot of things have happened during these last years but my love for you has never died.
