Hey Uncle Daryl thanks for riding us nephews on your motorcyle tank when we were kids before you went to work & with no helmets either just between your legs. Sure as hell cant do that or interact with the community like that any more.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 46th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
I pray for solace for all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.
