I met and roomed with your Mother at COPS Chapter Training this month. She is so proud of you and misses you more than you could ever imagine!
I want to thank you for your service to your community and our country. You will never be forgotten!

Hi Bry,
Still think about your big smile and how everyone around you seemed to smile too.I sure miss you and how you loved your dog Caesar. Not a day goes by that I don't think about how your courage had kept everyone around you and on the roads safe. Thanks for the special memories and for the impact you made on my life being such a special friend. I often play your chosen song of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" to remind me of how special people like you are in our lives. It has been way too long my friend- Rest in peace-
I will see you again, but not yet...

Bryon, it's been 9 years today, July 11, 2003, since you passed away. Unfortunately, I attended the funeral for one of your colleagues, today, Trooper Kevin Marshall. Kevin joined the Troops just one year after your departure.
I heard wonderful things about Kevin and I'm sure they applied equally to you, as they do to the MSP, in general.
I've always had pride in the Michigan State Police and always will. I've looked up to them since I was a small boy growing up in Detroit.
I remember my first days at the FBI Academy and the uncertainty of getting through it all. I was comforted during one of my classes on Tactical Emergency Vehicle Operations because the very first video we saw on Emergency/Pursuit Driving was produced by, none other than, the Michigan State Police.
Rest well and rest in peace.

Bry-
I think of you often and know you are keeping an eye on things down here. You were less a friend and more a brother to me, true-blue in your support and your competitive nature.
I miss the way we would try to out do one another, laugh & congratulate one another on our victories, and laugh harder at our defeats vowing nerver to lose again. I miss you calling me "Junior". You helped make college, the academy. and my first years in the MSP a real adventure.
It has been nine years today since you left us but I know your friendship is still here with me and I will see you again. With that memory of yours I know we'll have lots to talk and laugh about. Later Eagle !

Rest in peace partner- it's been nine years since your passing and a day doesn't pass without me reflecting on the ole' days at the Ypsilanti Post where you were the ultimate "Road Warrior" and one hell of a friend and partner. "Les't we forget" Brother, I'll visit soon.

I still remember the first time I met Bryon. I was 13 and worked at a party store in Kimball Twp. I only met him a few weeks prior to the accident. He seemed so full of life and proud to be a trooper in Michigan. I only spoke to him for a few moments that day. I told Bryon of my career decision to want to be a Trooper. He encouraged me and said "Hope to see you on the road someday, but first finish your school years." Bryon so far I am keeping my promise, I am in college getting my degree. I can only say I am sorry that you are gone. God Speed, keep heaven safe.

We were classmates in college, and you fulfilled your dream of becoming a Trooper. You will be missed by many, god bless.

Had the pleasure of growing up with Brian in the Alpena, MI, area; hanging, partying, and playing baseball. Brian was a dedicated trooper and a genuine person. He loved to help people and throw the bad guys in the can. You're thought of often by your family, friends, and fellow officers and we all miss ya dearly.

One hell of a good Trooper. Every time I hear "Knockin on Heavens door" by Guns and Roses I think of you Brian.
Take care, Steve N.
