While checking ODMP webpage I found you died on the exact day I was born. As a retired Deputy Sheriff I cannot help but reflect on the fact one officer left this world and one came into this world on this date April 27th 1952.Rest in Peace my brother as the 60th anniversary of your death approaches

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 58th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace
