You have a truely remarkable police force when they remember fallen officers Like George Hindman who died so many years ago. For me it is truely moving. George Hindman was my great great uncle. My grandmother was Marie Hindman. I visited Lincoln as a child of about six. George Hindman still has many family members or decendants living in Texas. Sheriff William Brady and Deputy George Hindman's loss in the line of duty should never be forgotten. Governor Richarson's consideration of a pardon for outlaw and murder Billy the Kid is not right. Many should right Governor Richarson and let him know this would be wrong.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
