A sad tragic loss on any day, but on Christmas, it was simply compounded. For your volunteer efforts as an Auxiliary, as a former Auxiliary myself, I thank you.
After 59 years, may you still be resting comfortably in Heaven, Brother. God Bless.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 56th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
I was saddened to see that Christmas Day is the eow for so many, many officers. Rest In Peace.
