Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Detective Charles R. Harris

Charlie was my Great Uncle. His sister Keziah Ellen Harris Drake was my great grandmother. I had heard the story of his moving to California and his being shot many years ago. He was originally from MO. He has many relatives in TX where his dad & sister are buried. So thankful there is online documentation of his service & sacrifice.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the eighty second anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace
