Rest in Peace, Trooper Harrell. Your sacrifice is not forgotten.
Officer 11169
March 30, 2012
Your heroism and service is honored today, the 47th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Trooper Harrell,
You have the same last name as one of my friends, Sheriff Bill Harrell of Laurens County, GA., who also dedicated his life to serve and protect the citizens of the State of Georgia. I don't know if you are any kin, but it wouldn't surprise me if you were. It takes a special breed of man to be a Law Enforcement Officer. It takes courage. It takes patriotism. It takes character. It takes a heart full of love and caring for his fellow man. You Sir, deserve all the honor and respect we can give. You certainly have mine. Thank You So Much.
"Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours;and their works do follow them." (Revelation 14:13)
