Reflections for Chief of Police Robert K. Hannahs

I said a little prayer today for Chief Hannahs and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.

I never met my great-grandfather, but I also am in Law Enforcement. I have been in Law Enforcement for 12 years and almost expierenced the same fate two years ago when stuck by a DUII driver. I was a Motor Deputy and was out of work for 6 months. I have my great-grandfathers badges and reflect on it every shift as I go to my patrol vehicle.
